Chuuk is a large atoll that belongs to Micronesia and sits just north of the equator in the Pacific. Aside from its natural coral island beauty, Chuuk is world famous for its Truk Lagoon, which is the watery grave to over fifty Japanese ships struck down during WWII. Scuba divers come from all over to examine these sunken hulks. Other activities include sea kayaking from island to island or climbing to the top of Mount Tonaachaw to catch a breathtaking, bird's eye view of the atoll.
