Fergusson Island, Papua New Guinea

Fergusson Island mostly consists of mountainous terrain covered by rainforests. In the midst of the bush are the Dei-Dei hot springs, where visitors can explore prehistoric steam vents, geysers, and salt deposits. Locals still cook in the tradition of their ancestors by preparing all meals in the boiling pools.
