Floro is mainland Norway's westernmost town. It mixes small-town charm with bustling industry and has twice been chosen as the country's most pleasant place to live. Although the municipality itself is rather small, it offers an abundance of natural attractions. On many popular outings, cruisers are ferried to the nearby isles of Kinn, Vaerlandet and Bulandet for stunning views of the sea, lakes, crags, marshlands and meadows blanketed in wildflowers. In port, shore excursions include boating, hiking, kayaking, diving and fishing, as well as visits to a coastal museum and tours of the area's many lighthouses.
