MS Fridtjof Nansen represents the next generation of expedition ships and explores some of the most spectacular corners of the globe. The stunning scenery is reflected in a rich and comfortable interior design. Natural materials such as granite, oak, birch and wool are used to create stylish cabins and public areas. All cabins are outside cabins, and 50% have private balconies. Aft suites feature private outdoor hot tubs with spectacular views.

A highlight of the onboard experience is the Nansen Science Center, an educational and entertaining venue where guests can gain a deeper understanding of the area. The science center is also the onboard headquarters for the expedition team. Each voyage is accompanied by a hand-picked team of modern-day explorers.
